A friend who is starting down the adoption path sent this to me – it’s a great perspective of a grown man and his mom on transracial adoption. Worth a look, and perhaps worth watching more from Adoption Learning Partners. I found it refreshing and fun.

I have seen this video before. . . it is very good! I think often about it and wonder, especially about our daughter, how she will overcome. . . if she will overcome.. . how will our relationship grow/change/blossom/be? I pray so much for the hope offered in this video. thank you for sharing this.

This was AWESOME! Nothing deep, or major. Yet acknowledging that as a white person you can’t stay in that privileged white mindset. Just being a family and saying it can be normal. Love it!
