Easter bunnies
Right before I left for the concert, my two little Easter bunnies received a package in the mail from Granny and Grandad (Jrock’s parents) with chocolate and pony-egss. Who knew there was such a thing? Anyway, they loved it, so thanks Granny and Grandad!
Then today we got super busy getting ready for Easter. We crafted like crazy!
First they did Easter stickers, colouring and collageing their Easter cards into their journals, then we decorate the Easter eggs. Jrock teased me because I had brown eggs to colour, but they still turned out pretty cool.
They girls also dragged out some ballerina / princess gear, and then we decided they were both going to where their dress-up princess dresses for the Easter egg hunt at the neighbors on Sunday. That should be pretty funny!

Looks like they had a great time! What in the heck are ‘pony eggs’??
So what did they think of the tradition of colouring eggs and chocolate bunnies? I know in the Greek orthodox church, we do red eggs and such for Easter, and Ethiopian orthodox is essentially the same except for the language. Was this a new concept for them, or had they had some exposure to it in Ethiopia?
Either way, I am sure they will look fabulous in their princess get-ups at the egg hunt.
Happy Easter to you, Jrock and the princesses!!!
Your eggs looked like they turned out great! Glad you had a wonderful Easter together.
