Any analysis, Auntie Ena?

I absolutely LOVE toddlers’ drawings! My favourite here is how the snowman has only two upper limbs, but the humans are basically centipedes. So cute.
Yeah-
Looks like they’re having fun!
Love that lion and the hippo…these are awesome. I love to see children’s drawings!
Is it just me, or is that lion really impressive??!!
Great work ladies!
I say impressive!
I have to admit I helped her with the mane (hand guiding) – but the rest she did herself.
It looks like you have some budding artists there!!!
Very cool! And did you know (i’m sure you do) that drawing is actually better for the developing mind than colouring?! (our girls love colouring, but seem a bit less interested in drawing ~ so far). Good job girls!
Yeah, I read that, KAren. So when we went to ET I brought some blank page big journals / sketch books for the girls – and would you beleive they have almost finished their second one???? They’re not too sure what to do with colouring books, though. Makes it tough for restaurants… so I always have a little sketch book / note pad in my purse for them.
Cheers
Nicky
I didn’t know that about colouring vs, drawing. But it makes sense. I’ve long had a problem with those colouring books where you have the special markers and you don’t have to do anything but rub ink on the pages. It does the colouring for you. And that is what my kids get as presents, cause it’s “easy and tidy”. Anyway, my pet peeve of the morning. Off to go buy some sketch books!
I’ve just moved to wordpress, come check us out!
