Family and friends,
Please take the time to read through this petition and sign it if you support it. Although Nicky and I are through court, I can’t imagine how devastating it must be to those who have not received a referral yet. Something needs to be done to help these families dreams of an ethiopian adoption to be facilitated.

My sister and BIL are among those waiting. Luckily their home study is finished, but the paperwork wasn’t back yet – so it could have been worse financially. In terms of emotionally – there is no words. Somehow they have to grieve the hope that is lost, but push forward as the process will have to start over somewhere else.
They are also devastated as they have met with the staff of IA, and always felt as thought they were genuine and caring. Nothing about the way this was handled is caring though…
I am glad that it looks as though your girls will make it home!
