Finger Puppets – an essential tool for international toddler travel!
I bought a set for my secret pal (what seems like eons ago, now – ) for bringing her 2 and 4 year olds home… and she said they were great. So Jrock and I were out shopping and we picked out an “under the sea” quartet of finger puppets for that long long plane ride home.
We hummed and hawed for what seemed like forever picking them out… I guess it’s just one of those small joys: imagining your children playing, and thinking up stories and songs for them.

brilliant, so much better than the socks and airsickness bags that we ended up using. tip: these “travelling toys” actually become more meaningful over time as they seem to rememember the “first ” toys they had. esp as they learned better how to play with them. cannot wait to see you w/your little ones, sk
I bought a set too, and my husband thought I was crazy. Well, wouldn’t know it that our two-year-old was fascinated with Auntie Em’s hand mirror! I hope to take squishy ball too, and the Discovery Toys alphabet board books…something for the long plane ride…and my bonding with her.
An extra thought…if you want.
