Spring is here and it’s a great time to play a guessing game with Mother Nature – so all you gardeners out there… why don’t you give a try?
I’ve posted pictures below of five of our trees’ blossoms… can you guess which is which? The photos were taken two days ago. Just post a comment with your guesses… and in a couple of days I’ll post the answer. The winner gets all the gardening glory

I know way too little about gardens to know the answer, but am a total appreciater of all things nature, flowers and beautiful even so. Looking at your photos I am mostly just envious that you actually have blossoms that look like that – there are still some places here where the snow hasn’t all melted and my trees wouldn’t dream of opening themselves up. Between the sled dogs, wine drinking and spring blossoms I think we need to be living where you live
A
Well, I’m not great with bushes, but I’ll give it a try on “A” being a white lilac and “E” being apple blossoms. Not sure on the others
hmmmm… no correct answers so far – but thatnks for guessing! I will tell youthat one of them is an apple!
Is ‘c’ an apple tree? I couldn’t tell ya either…I generally kill all plants within 2 weeks. Even my lawn dies by the end of August….

I’m going to give this a try: A. snowball bush? B. crabapple? C. apple D. cherry? E. peach? I’m pretty sure I got all of them wrong. The only tree I have blooming right now is my “downy serviceberry”, and it doesn’t look like any of these trees! I can’t wait to see the answers.
Score one for Claire and Janna!
C is a gala apple.
Janna is also right – two of them are a cherry and a peach…. just not the ones she said.
Keep guessin!
