JRock likes these dresses best of all the outfits I have made so far… I actually have some fabric left so I might make some small bottoms, or a floppy hat to match or something. I think they are cute too!
It’s funny, I haven’t done this for a while, and sometimes you forget stuff like matching up stripes - but it comes back. And by the time you reach the second dress, it’s quick quick quick! (Of course, I’ not telling you about totally pulling apart the first dress skirt because I sewed it inside out!)

These are my favourites, as well. Love the fabric and lace - they look vintage!

Oh he’s right. These are perfect. I love the lace detail at the top - it’s perfect choice of lace.

Sewing things inside out - yeah, I’ve done that too! And I’ve got a few projects started in fall that are still sitting there as I ran out of steam somewhere between Christmas and New Years and am only just getting it back - but now the sewing room has been taken apart, as it was unfinished and Laoye is starting the job of finishing it now. Oh well, the nice warm and cozy fleece outfits I was working on might get done by next fall. Hope they still fit…
As for yours - totally cute! Love the lace, and really nice colours. Matching sunbonnets would be nice, or bloomers so they can swing upside down at the playground and not show their undies…

You keep sewing up a storm with such cute outfits and you won’t need the ones the family are making!
Actually, I am happy to see you enjoying sewing again. You’ve made such attractive and unique clothes for the girls. They’ll be sure to love them. What a great gift to give - the “fruits of your labour”.
I have been enjoying making outfits for the girls as well. It is so much fun to make two of something - production seems to speed up so much. Little girls are a joy to dress. Will send them soon. Will also send the dresses your grandmother knit for you and your sister when you were about two years old. Your sister says you are welcome to use hers as well - just remember who to return it to once the girls outgrow them!

I can’t wait to see yours, too, Mom! Plus, it will be so cute to see the dresses we wore - I imagine our girls wil fit them at an older age, so I imagine they will still fit, which should be great.
I’ll have to post some of Gramma’s clothes too, when they arrive!
