I thought I would let you know that our puppy Laughlin is growing up and doing very well! He’s only had one accident in the last week. (Of course, it was pretty spectacular - we were upstairs in the family room and must have been missing his signals. So he jumped up on the back of the couch between us and peed beside our heads. We got the message then!)

They look like the bad kids caught in the act in this picture! But they actually are very good... (PS: yes, we still have green grass!)
Laughlin’s such a sweet little character and brings a lot of joy to our house. He still definitely has his moments of puppiness, though, as you will see in the video below!

cute pups! I love the interaction between them! We are waiting until we move before we get a friend for Aura, our great dane/blue heeler cross (we call her Aura, the great healer) Animals really do add such a wonderful element to family, and kids just LOVE puppys.
Lucky lady with the green grass! (I’m trying not to be to jealous, but its challenging) When we moved up here from Naramata all the fruit trees on our acreage were in blossom…we arrived at our new home to snow!! (no blossoms for weeks, sigh) But we do get a crisp, white winter, with frozen lakes to skate on a blue sky above.
oh…as I type the snow is beginning to fall. Snow for the Santa Claus Parade!! yay!

I have to know… is Laughlin a Cairn and Westie cross? He looks exactly like our Pippen! We got Pippen almost 2 years ago from a breeder in 100 mile area. I have found a few of his “siblings” here in Richmond and it would be too funny if this was another one….

Hey Sarah… you have a cairn too, don’t you?
He’s actually a purebred cairn - his daddy was the #1 cairn in Canada in 2005. Good stock! lol but mostly because they took such care breeding such a lovely disposition. He came from a breeder in New Westminster…
Yeah cairn terriers!!!

Yup- Pippen the wonder dog is a Cairn/Westie cross and almost 2 years old. He’s insane but super good with the kids. A great family dog and a super big suck.
