Which Puppy?

Since our Hamie passed away, our house has been very empty feeling…. so we’ve decided to get a puppy to keep me and Maggie company, run around, chase the cats, eat our socks and pee on the floor. Hmmm…. well, it comes with the territory.
So… here are the two candidates – 4 month old cairn terriers. [Edit: Both boys!] Which one do you like the look of best?
Cast your vote by leaving a comment below.
Leftie? – or – Rightie?
(…and remember to leave politics aside – this is puppy choosing, not the election, people
)

Leftie
Rightie!
Left!!
They are both so cute, but I love the look of Rightie!
Lol… you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, but just in case looks has anything to do with it, i vote “righty.” (And i vote you come up with a new name for him/her once you’ve chose ~ lol).
Leftie looks pretty spunky! I’ll vote for her/him.
If you’re looking for a floor-peeing sock chewer, I’d go with left. He’s got that look in his eye. Righty looks a little calmer. I’d go right.
You are asking the wrong person. BOTH! Of course, BOTH!
How do you choose?! Are you sure you can only have one? If you really do have to chose then I would go with the tongue out dog. He looks spunky and a lot of fun! The other one looks very sweet and demure as well. You really can’t go wrong.
Most importantly does Maggie have a preference?
Both…get both!
Do you have to pick just one?? : )
I’d pick rightie though! He’s looks like he’s needs some love!

I’m with Julie on this one. Both would be my vote. That way one can chew socks while the other is on look out (while likely peeing on the floor.)
Oh wow! I would say both but if you are choosing – oh man I can’t!
Leftie looks spunky and full of fun but might be mischeivious and eat shoes or something.
Rightie looks loving and cuddly but might not want to play lots and instead just snuggle in your lap
Oh – Left, right – left, right
Rightie! whew that was a struggle.
Leftie…he’s got character! Gauche…or a droit??? Such a hard decision…good luck with this!!!!
Leftie looks more spunky, rightie looks more mellow. Mellow or spunky? Hmmmmm, what works for your crew????
I like dogs with spunk so – left
Both!?! – we already have two cats and a dog and two kids on the way, people!!! lol
Courtney – I tried showing the pictures to Maggie and she actually did look at them… but in typical Maggie-fashion – no perceptable opinion either way. So we’ll have to see what she thinks in person!
TAKE BOTH!!! They’re so sweet. Think of it as not wanting to separate siblings.
So what’s one more to your big happy family?
Yes both!
And that is my final vote!
Besides there’s always room for just one more and both leftie and rightie together are like a third of only one of my dogs!
Ricki
I say the one on the right but I like calmer!! Although it would be really nice for them to stay together
Steph
I’m not going to vote but I just want to say that you are lucky because Grant won’t let me have a little dog (he says “that’s why you have a cat”) So I’m jealous! I love terriers but the smallest he’ll let me have is a staffordshire and I don’t want one of those …. I love my big dog but I think that he needs a ‘little buddie!’
Can’t wait to see your chose and hear his new name!
Based on the post of Maggie chasing the water from the hose, I’m betting she wants a friend with some spunk. Therefore I say leftie!
Totally both!! Crazy…? Well maybe not! My parents had litter mates (goldens) and swear they would do it again in a heartbeat! They found that they egg each other on in training (way faster), sleep easier, and it saved all their socks and shoes because they chewed each other! So your house is a zoo… They’re both too cute to choose!
-Spoken from a crazy lady who once had two dogs, two cats, a guinea pig, two rats, and a hamster all at the same time! (I do crazy things for my kids!)
For the record, they had 4 other siblings in new families already, so no we won’t be taking both to keep them together. As well, they are not cheap!
I like Leftie cause he’s smiling
Rightie cause he looks wise and full of knowledge…. he ponders the moment.
Jenny
I’m not really a dog person, but if I was… I’d get both.
(of course I have 13 pets, so maybe you should take that into consideration before you consider my vote)
BOTH!!!!
