Trouble making decisions

It’s so silly… I am having such trouble making some decisions.
My mother-in-law decided she wanted to get “the kids” a present for Xmas, referral or not. So she suggested I pick up two little horses. Jrock and I picked out 2 at Superstore last night… but today at Save-on-food I found 2 more horses. So this is the silly part – I totally can’t decide which 2 horses to keep. We THINK one of our kids will be bigger than the other, but we don’t know. Jrock wanted the 2 horses to be different, so we picked the big brown one and the little paint originally, but the brown one doesn’t have a rocker. And what if that kid feels left out because it doesn’t have a rocker? So the others have rockers, but they also neigh and wag their tails. I really like the small paint, but what if that kid feels left out because their tail doesn’t wag? Maybe we should keep the two tail-waggers even if they are the same size…
Pitiful. I know. And this isn’t even a major decision.
I’m calling my mother-in-law to pick out her own horses!

Ok – so she picked the little paint, and the palomino at the end – and we’re taking the batteries out so the latter doesn’t make any noise.
Seriously~ I needed help with THAT?
Nicky (who needs a referral soon so she can think straight)
Haha ok so this is what I have to look forward to! That is too funny, and they are all cute!
You could just keep them all. I think we have about 14 stuffed horses of various sorts and sizes, and another 50 or so plastic ones, in our house. (But no rocking horses, with or without a neigh.) Giggles (daughter) is CRAZY about horses!

I totally vote for keeping them all. We have a ridiculous number of loveys at our house, but each one was purchased for a reason and so there’s a story behind each one. And that means there’s a story to tell our child behind each and every one. And a memory for our child to keep once we are gone, about how all these toys came to him or her or what nutty parents he or she had for buying all this stuff.
It’s something your children will have of you, a sweet memory that they can keep along with the toys. Who knows — maybe they will want to put two of them in their hope chests for their kids, or so that they have a memory of something special from the people who loved them.
Keep ‘em all.
LOL!! I would have just the same problem!!! You should see me make any purchase!! When it is a fun one you want to be sure you buy *just* the right one!! LOL! I too love the paint! Not know what age our girls are going to be I might be inclined to buy one in each size. Oh no…
