So we’ve been waiting almost 11 weeks for a referral now… yikes! It’s so torturous.
It feels like 11 years.
I’ve started checking my email more frequently – at the middle and end of each day, at least – JIC.
But no news yet. 
Hang in there, Nicky. It will happen when the children who are meant to be yours can be matched with you.
This gets the award for the lamest post ever. Patience is a virtue!
I remember that feeling. I called home from work about every hour to check the messages on my machine. the funny thing is that our referral came on a day that I was over-whelmed with some crazy school board business, went rushing to my daughters music lessons and then hurried home to get dinner going.
My husband walked in from his office and said “we got the call” and I was so flustered I didn’t even really understand what he was talking about for a minute. It was the first day in months that I hadn’t been obsessively checking phone and e-mail. Funny, as soon as I let go of my expectations(not really consiously, only because I was frantic) the boys came.
It will happen and I look forward to seeing that post…
