I found this on another family’s blog… and wow, it’s the same needlework that my mom had on our nursary wall!
Thinking of you, Mom!
Love, Me.

Surprise, surprise, I still have it tucked away for when my first grandchild arrives. Hopefully, you will need it to decorate the child(ren)’s bedroom soon.
We’re all waiting with you.
You’ll be pleased to know that our copy of this picture, with its parent-friendly philosophy, is residing in the basement waiting for my first grandchildren to arrive. May the timetable be as short as possible!
Lots of luv
My mum made the very same one for me when I had my fourth son! I have never seen anyone else with it.
) And I see you write ‘mum’ also!

I was really surprised about a year ago when I walked into somebody’s house for the first time, and there was that familar hanging on the wall. Same words, same colours, same frame…talk about nostalgia. I’m so glad to hear that Mum has it tucked away for a new generation. I can actually vividly remember Mum ‘singing’ that to me as a child (more just a sing-song voice) and later, reading it over and over even though I had long since memorized it. It always made me feel small, safe and loved when I was needing my Mum and some extra comfort the most. Sometimes you just want to know that you’ll always be somebody’s baby. I hope your kids get the same feeling from that dusty, slightly ratty, and well-loved hanging, Nic.
Cheers.
